USDA grants through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) will pay 50% of clean energy project costs for qualified rural small businesses. Tax credits will pay 20-40% more. Eligible projects include:
- Heat pumps for heating and cooling
- Insulation and weatherization
- Major equipment replacement
- Solar and/or battery storage and more
