This page provides links to research and evidence to current and former partners’ web pages, and includes information about the Regional Spatial Strategy and the North East Strategy (integrated regional strategy), both now withdrawn.
This website provides an archive of the Leaders' Board strategy integration role in relation to regional planning, housing, transport, scrutiny and sustainable development which ceased in 2010. It holds information about the Regional Spatial Strategy adopted 2008 and the evidence which informed the development of this. It is also an archive of the work of the North East Assembly which was disbanded in April 2009. Download the Frequently asked questions document for further information.

http://www.nerip.com/policies - NERIP’s library of regional strategies and policies: contains copies of the Regional Economic Strategy, Regional Spatial Strategy, Integrated Regional Framework, North East Strategy for the Environment amongst others, plus each local authority’s Local Community Strategy.
